DENNY Now Anyone Can Cook Competition –  Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility

This competition is organised by Denny South Africa  (“the Organisers”) and is open to all South African citizens residing in the Republic of South Africa (a valid South African identity document is required), except directors, members, business partners, employees, sales agents, advertising agency staff and the immediate family members of all the aforesaid (including, but not limited to spouses, life partners, parents, children, brothers and sisters).

2. Competition Details

The competition runs from 1 November 2025 to 20 December 2025.

To enter:

  • Buy any new Denny Dry Cook-in Sauce, Dry Pasta Sauce or Stock Powder
  • Show us your cooking skills using any Denny dry product as the main ingredient
  • Post a photo/video of your culinary creation on Facebook or Instagram
  • Follow and tag @dennysouthafrica and use the hashtag #NowAnyoneCanCook in your post, to enter.
  • Optional: tell us about your dish and how you used Denny to cook it.

3. Prizes

  • Weekly Prizes: Weekly winners will each receive a Denny Now Anyone Can Cook Starter Kit valued at R1 000. Winners will be announced online on our social media pages.

4. Selection of Winners

  • Weekly Winners: Throughout the competition period, Denny South Africa will randomly select a winning entry each week.
  • Selection Criteria: Winners will be chosen based on use of the Denny dry product, visual appeal of the dish, creativity and taste (as described in the entry).
  • Judges’ Decision: The Organisers’ decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

5. Entry Requirements

  • Only one entry per person per week is allowed.
  • Your entry must be a photo/video of your own creation.
  • You must include all required information in your caption (ingredients, description, hashtag).
  • Make sure your follow and tag us to qualify for entry.
  • Your profile must be public for the duration of the competition.

6. Prize Claiming

Winners will be notified by social media comment and direct message and must claim their prices within a week of the end of the competition (20 December 2025). Unclaimed prizes may be awarded to alternate winners. The prizes are not transferable or exchangeable for cash. DENNY reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without notice.

7. General Conditions

  • By entering the competition, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  • The Organisers reserve the right to disqualify any entries that do not comply with these terms and conditions or that are deemed inappropriate.
  • The Organisers’ decision on all matters relating to the competition is final.
  • This competition is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Facebook or Instagram.
  • You are providing your information to the Organisers and not to any other party.
  • These terms and conditions are governed by South African law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
  • The Organisers reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
  • The winner agrees to the use of their name, image, and entry in any DENNY publicity material.

8. Data Protection

Any personal data relating to entrants will be used solely in accordance with current South African data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

9. Disqualification

The Organisers reserve the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these terms and conditions or is deemed inappropriate.

10. Disclaimer

DENNY makes no warranty or representation in connection with any prizes as to the value, quality, suitability for any purpose, dimensions or other property or attribute of the Prize.
