Bolognaise Baked Gnocchi

500g ready made potato gnocchi

500g beef mince
1 large onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 x 400g Denny Bolognaise & Mushroom Pasta Sauce
¼ cup fresh parsley, roughly chopped
200g mozzarella cheese, grated

Fresh basil, for serving

Salt and pepper, to taste
Olive oil, for cooking


Bring a large pot of salted water to the boil.
Cook gnocchi according to package instructions.
Drain and set aside.

Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a large oven safe pan.
Cook the mince in batches until brown.
Remove from the pan and set aside.

Add a fresh drizzle of olive oil and cook the onion until soft.
Add the garlic and cook for a minute until fragrant.
Season with salt and pepper.

Preheat the oven on grill setting.

Pour in the Denny Bolognaise & Mushroom Pasta Sauce.
Rinse the jar out with a little water and add to the pan.
Bring to a simmer.

Add the mince back to the pan and stir into the sauce.
Add the parsley and the gnocchi and fold through until well combined.

Top the pan with mozzarella and grill until the cheese has melted and turns golden brown.

Remove from the oven and serve family style right out of the pan.
Scatter with fresh basil.
Serve with a salad on the side and enjoy!
