Chicken Zoodles à la KingServes: 4Prep time: 10 MinsCook time: 20 Mins
4 free-range chicken breasts
1 tsp mixed dried herbs
2 x 415g Denny Chicken à la King Cook-In-Sauce
800g large marrows / courgettes (or purchase premade zoodles)
1 lemon, sliced into wedges
Fresh micro herbs, for serving
Olive oil, for cooking
Salt and pepper, to taste
Preheat oven to 200˚C.
Pour the contents of both Denny Chicken à la King sachets into a large heavy based roasting dish.
Nestle the 4 chicken breasts into the sauce.
Season well with salt and the dried herbs.
Bake in the oven for 20 minutes, or until the chicken breasts are cooked through.
While the chicken is baking, make the zoodles using a spiralizer.
Top tip: If you do not have a spiralizer you can still easily make your own zoodles.
Simply use a peeler and peel large courgette ribbons.
Stack the ribbons on top of each other and then slice them into thin noodles.
Once cooked, leave the chicken breasts to rest for 5 minutes and then shred them into the sauce using two forks.
Add the zoodles into the hot roasting dish and toss to mix thoroughly into the shredded chicken and sauce.
Divide saucy chicken zoodles amongst warm bowls.
Squeeze over some fresh lemon juice and finish with a sprinkle of herbs.
Serve and enjoy!
