Denny Original Marry Me Chicken
Serves: 4-6Prep time: 10 MinsCook time: 15 MinsINGREDIENTS
3 Tbsp extra-virgin olive oil, divided
4 x boneless, skinless chicken breasts (thighs are great too)
Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 Tbsp. fresh thyme leaves
1 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
Denny Chicken Stock
1/2 cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes
Denny Classic White Pour-Over Sauce
1/4 cup. finely grated Parmesan
Torn fresh basil, for serving
METHOD
Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large shallow cast-iron pan over medium-high heat and fry generously season chicken breasts until golden brown, turning halfway through, about 5 minutes per side. Transfer chicken to a plate.
In same pan over medium heat, heat remaining 2 tablespoons oil. Add in Denny Mixed Chopped Mushrooms, garlic, thyme, and red pepper flakes, sun-dried tomatoes before pouring in Denny Chicken Stock. Stir to mix before adding Denny Classic White Pour-Over Sauce and returning the chicken to the pan to soak up the sauce and cook through.
Simmer on low for 10 to 12 minutes until fragrant and chicken is cooked through. Serve chicken with mashed potatoes or pasta and spoon over sauce. Garnish with fresh basil and parmesan cheese.
